Sandy and Seamus are great hosts with a wealth of knowledge and familial history. It was definitely worth the drive down the single lane windy road to Elgol and the views to, from, and at Loch Coruisk were spectacular.

However, being able to take a gentle hike up to and along the loch and sit overlooking it and the 3,000' peaks in the background was impressive. This trip was one of the highlights of our stay on the Isle of Skye.

Would highly recommend, and the seafood shack back ashore with excellent salads and lobster filled rolls!

We went for the standard trip giving us 1.5 hours on land which was just enough with a toddler. She loved seeing the seal colony. All in all a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be back to do it all again. My mum is local and tells me the MacKinnons of Elgol have been doing the boat tours here for generations. Isn’t that lovely. Highly recommend for spectacular scenery, wildlife if you’re lucky and great story telling!
